1. Must be 18 years of age and have competency to perform personal care tasks for patients.
2. Must have a sincere interest, understanding and appreciation of the problems of the elderly and disabled.
3. Must respect patients property.
4. Must maintain patient confidentiality
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. Positive attitude towards caring for the elderly
7. Can make travel arrangements to visit patients in their places of residence.
